Tasting Notes

This Field Blend is crafted from a combination of grapes across several vintages to create a red wine of distinct character, representing Nova Scotia. It is a complex cépage of Cabernet Foch, Maréchal Foch and Castel. Concentrated notes of dark cherry, plum, cassis and blackberry are complemented by hints of anise, baking spices and pepper. Medium-bodied with a soft, round texture, the wine features rich tannins with a lingering raspberry finish.
